Let's face it, being a pre-teen is hard! Girls in our society have so many pressures and challenges. I have a passion for helping girls and women gain self-confidence and see the beauty they possess. I love working with girls one-on-one in therapy and in therapeutic groups. I'm very excited for this group!
This self-esteem and skill building group is for girls ages 11 and 12! It's a fun and interactive group that will teach your daughter the following crucial skills to navigating the new school year and life in general:
- Distress tolerance/handling change
- making new friends/strengthening existing friendships
- emotional regulation
- improving body image
In order to facilitate a safe and comfortable environment, the group size will stay small. I will also e-mail parent handouts after each group with the topic of the group and a general description of the activities to keep the parents/guardians involved. Your daughter can decide how much more detail she wants to share, if any.
The group will be meeting for 4 weeks: July 21, 28, August 4, and 11 from 4-5:15pm.
The cost is $150 and due on the first day of group. All forms of payment are accepted (cash, check, debit/credit).

Girls with a hearing loss are welcome! A retired DHH teacher is available to facilitate language for each session. Please check the box below to indicate a need for this.
