You take care of everyone, but who takes care of YOU?
You would never toot your own horn but you’re an amazing nurse. You’re hard working, dependable, and empathic. So caring that you carry the burdens of work home with you.
You’re the one that your family and friends rely on. You’re the shoulder to cry on.
But who is there for you when you are feeling down or need some extra support?
You are self-reliant and successful.
But deep down you know you need a support system and someone in your corner for this stressful boxing ring we call life.
You not only have a very demanding career but you are a caregiver outside of work as well. Whether you care for small children or have aging parents, you are the backbone of your family.
You love helping others and being everything to everyone, but you’re tired. Oh so tired.
If you’re looking for a small group of fellow heart-centered female nurses who “get it” you’re in the right place.
If you’re looking for a safe place to process work-life AND home-life stress, this is the group for you.

2 Months of Virtual Group Therapy 〰️ Female Nurses Only 〰️
Hey there! I’m Sarah, a licensed psychotherapist in Northern California. (And this handsome devil is Rory, my gigantic therapy dog in training. :)) I specialize in working with female helping professionals with anxiety find peace and enjoyment in the day to day by teaching them how to tune into their mind and body and learn healthy coping skills.
For the past 7 years, I’ve worked with numerous nurses. But, since the Covid-19 pandemic started, I had more and more nurses fill my caseload…and fill my heart.
I absolutely love working with my nurse clients. They are some of the most selfless humans I’ve ever met.
It’s my greatest honor to be a support and teach them how to tune into their needs, create healthy boundaries with loved ones, and create a fulfilling life. But, I can only do so much in our 1:1 sessions.
I’ve learned over the past 3 years that nurses need a bigger support system, they need other nurses. So I’m creating that with this group.
This is a trauma processing group and a psycho-ed group to learn how to take care of your needs amidst the stress and busyness.
The group starts on November 26, 2023!

That’s not a problem at all! You are encouraged to attend all 8 weeks to get the most out of the group and build comradery with the other group members but I get it that life is busy and you may not be able to attend each week due to work or personal commitments.
-
Unfortunately, no. You are paying for the entirety of the group, even if you’re unable to attend every week since your payment reserves your spot. Since this is a closed group for 8 weeks, I cannot fill the weeks you miss with others so you’re purchasing the group as a whole. The psycho-education part each week will be emailed to you if you miss a week.
-
Yes, absolutely! We can set up a 20 minute free consult to answer any questions you have and see if this group is a good fit for you and your needs. Email me at sarah@sarahsanderslmft.com to set this up.

Each call will have an informational teaching time with it. This portion will be recorded and emailed to you. The processing time where group members share about their life and struggle will not be recorded. This is intended to create emotional safety.
